I’ll be adding photographs of completed craft work to this page over time.

My interpretation of ‘Celtic Banner’.

‘The Scarlet Lion’ – worked in silk over linen (in 2006) as a gift for Elizabeth Chadwick after publication of ‘The Greatest Knight’.  Elizabeth has a much nicer photograph of this piece on her blog.

One of my earliest large pieces (finished in 2001).  I was so proud of this piece – even though I made a mistake in it.

A work in progress in 2005:

and finished, but not yet framed:

  1. Hi Jennifer,
I’ve been clicking around your site and found much to read and enjoy. The “craft” tab caught my eye first, because I love anything creative. Your needlework is beautiful! And I appreciate it even more because that is one area of crafting skill that I haven’t yet mastered. I tried a few times and turned out some beginner’s efforts, but in the process gained a new appreciation for the intricate and beautiful pieces that others are able to complete.

Also, I’d never heard of Anzac Day, and it’s nice that you have it here for others to learn from. By the way, you have a very handsome son!

I spent 10 days in Sydney/Manley area waaaay back in 1969 (when I was just a pup. ha), and just fell in love with the people and your beautiful part of our world. Wishing and dreaming about returning one day!

    Best regards,
    G.L. Douglas
