This book is a collaborative work between Alida Brill and Michael Lockshin.  Alida’s life includes chronic illness, Michael’s life includes medical practice.  This book has much to offer those of us who live with chronic illness and, I believe, those who attempt to guide us either within professional partnerships or personal relationships.

Coronado by Dennis Lehane

I am new to reading Dennis Lehane, and while I largely enjoyed this collection of short stories and a play I so far prefer his novels.  These short stories fitted neatly into awkward blocks of time and, in their own way, were an enjoyable read.
