This is a beautiful book: the photography is superb and the projects are so tempting. My biggest decision? Where to start.

Regarding Jane Eyre (edited by Susan Geason)

Pure serendipity: I c ame across this book and very much enjoyed reading the different views proposed by a range of authors about Jane Eyre. Whether you are a Bronte fan, or simply one of the legions of fans who enjoy ‘Jane Eyre’ you may enjoy this delightful collection – if you are able to obtain it.

The Whole Truth by David Baldacci

This suspense novel filled a ‘rainy day’ space for me at a time when I really needed a fast moving story to distract me. Perhaps not a great read, but certainly a potentially thought-provoking one.

This book has much to offer those of us who live with chronic illness and, I believe, those who attempt to guide us either within professional partnerships or personal relationships.

Coronado by Dennis Lehane

I am new to reading Dennis Lehane, and while I largely enjoyed this collection of short stories and a play I so far prefer his novels. These short stories fitted neatly into awkward blocks of time and, in their own way, were an enjoyable read.

My Reading Life by Bob Carr

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I originally borrowed a copy but I decided that I really had to have my own copy so that I could make notes. Some of Bob Carr’s suggestions are ones that I fully intend to adopt. I’d recommend this to any bibliophile who wants to know how another bibliophile approaches the wonderful world of books.
